A Body I Touched

Medium: Wood, Sound, Bone Conduction Transducers, Photopolymer Gravure Prints

The sound installation "A Body I Touched" serves as a portal into a deeply personal narrative intertwined with the exhumation process of Park's family members within a cherished Korean cemetery. Through its immersive experience, the installation captures the subtle resonant echoes of the sacred site and the rituals associated with the deceased, rooted in the Park's cultural heritage. Enhanced by the handcrafted wooden aural sculptures, the work delicately weaves together the delicate sounds of space and memory to evoke a profound sense of intimacy and reverence.
