Spectral Drift
Spectral Drift is a series of eleven algorithmic music compositions created in Pure Data (Pd) and Max/MSP using custom patches, procedural sequencing, synthesis, and real-time signal processing. The project explores a wide range of sonic textures, ranging from granular surfaces to dense, resonant layers. Through variations in tempo, rhythmic density, and resonance, the compositions further examine how vibration can create structural movement, reveal delicate overtones, and generate a sense of physical weight. Rather than following fixed musical structures, Spectral Drift embraces controlled unpredictability, creating unique sonic forms that continuously evolve.
